Why Choose TwoTrees TTS Series Laser Engraver
- 40W / 80W High Power Laser – The TTS-10 Pro (40W) and TTS-55 Pro (80W) provide ample power for cutting through wood up to 8-15mm and engraving metal (with marking spray). Higher wattage means faster cutting and deeper engraving.
- Desktop Compact Design – Small footprint fits on any workbench. The machine is self-contained with no external chiller required (air cooled). Perfect for home use, classrooms, or small rental spaces.
- 300x300mm Engraving Area – Spacious enough for medium-sized projects like signage, jewelry boxes, phone cases, coasters, and flatware. Balances workspace with desktop convenience.
- Acrylic and Wood Optimized – Specially tuned for acrylic cutting and engraving (produces flame-polished edges) and wood engraving. Also capable of marking stainless steel and engraving leather, anodized aluminum, and coated metals.
- Smart Device Enabled – Connect via USB or Wi-Fi (depending on version). Works with LightBurn, LaserGRBL, and other popular laser engraving software for intuitive design-to-print workflow.
- Woodworking and Carpentry – Engrave custom logos, text, or designs on wooden signs, cutting boards, coasters, boxes, furniture, and musical instruments. Cut thin plywood, MDF, balsa, and basswood for model making.
- Acrylic Fabrication – Perfect for acrylic signage, awards, displays, keychains, and jewelry. Produces clean, flame-polished edges when cutting clear and colored acrylics.
- Metal Marking – Engrave stainless steel, titanium, and other metals using marking spray or dry molybdenum lubricant. Ideal for personalized dog tags, tools, and industrial parts.
- Leather and Fabric – Engrave and cut genuine leather, faux leather, felt, denim, and canvas for custom patches, bags, wallets, belts, and shoes (ventilation recommended).
- Small Business Production – Create personalized gifts, custom phone cases, engraved pet tags, wood ornaments, and acrylic signs for Etsy shops, craft fairs, and local retail.
- Assemble the Frame – The TTS ships partially assembled. Follow the manual to mount the gantry, laser module, and control box. Allow 30 minutes for assembly.
- Level the Laser – Use a machinist square or calibration tool to ensure the laser module is perfectly perpendicular to the work surface. An angled laser causes uneven engraving.
- Install and Configure Software – Download LightBurn (30-day trial) or LaserGRBL (free). Connect via USB, select the correct COM port, and run a test shape on scrap material first.
- Set Focus Correctly – Use the included focus gauge or measure the focal distance. Proper focus is critical for sharp detail and efficient cutting. Re-focus after changing material thickness.
- Start with Low Power – For new materials, run a power/speed test matrix. Begin with lower power and slower speed, then increase power until the desired depth is achieved without burning.

Warnings and Safety Notes
- Laser radiation hazard – This engraver emits invisible (mostly visible blue) laser radiation that can cause permanent eye damage and skin burns. Always wear the included certified laser safety glasses for 445nm wavelength when the machine is operating.
- Install in a ventilated area – Laser cutting/engraving produces smoke, fumes, and particulate matter. Always use external exhaust fan or air purifier. Do not inhale fumes from acrylic, PVC (never use PVC), or coated materials.
- Never leave unattended – Diode lasers can ignite materials. Stay with the machine during operation. Keep a fire extinguisher (Class B/C or ABC rated) nearby.
- Forbidden materials – Never engrave or cut PVC, vinyl, polycarbonate, ABS, or any material containing chlorine or heavy metals. These release toxic and corrosive gases that damage the machine and are hazardous to health.
- Flammable materials – Keep a fire watch. Some woods, papers, and fabrics can catch fire. If smoke appears beyond normal or flames erupt, stop immediately and press emergency stop.
- Use enclosure or shielding – If your version does not include a full enclosure, use the provided acrylic shield. Never bypass or remove safety interlocks.
- Electrical safety – Do not operate with wet hands. Keep liquids away from the laser module, control board, and power supply. Unplug when not in use.
- Children and pets – Keep away during operation. The laser and moving parts pose serious injury risks. Not a toy.
- Material testing – Always test new materials on scrap pieces. Some materials (e.g., certain painted or coated metals) may produce harmful fumes or be un-cuttable.
- Power grading – The laser output power (optical) is lower than the electrical power consumption rating (e.g., 40W electrical may be 5.5W optical). Adjust expectations accordingly for cutting thickness.
- First aid for eye exposure – If accidental eye exposure occurs, close eyes, move away from laser, and seek immediate medical evaluation. Do not rub eyes.
